Recycling policy and the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment RegulationsHere at Kobalt we are keen to help the environment. To this end and to meet our legal obligations on recycling, we are a member of the UK Government’s Distributor Take Back Scheme, run by Valpak Ltd. Through them we make a contribution to recycling costs. This means that when you recycle your old computer – hopefully when you are about to buy a new one from us! – you simply take it to a designated recycling centre. Most of these centres are run by local Councils. There are now hundreds of recycling sites in the UK for waste electrical goods. Go to www.recycle-more.co.uk and type your postcode into the bank locator to find out where to take your electrical items for recycling. www.recycle-more.co.uk also has lot more information and advice on all aspects of recycling. Please help the environment by taking some time to read through what’s there. The Crossed out Wheeled BinYou will notice that all Kobalt computers carry the crossed out wheelie bin sign. But do you know what this means? ![]() |
