Kobalt are very pleased to announce the appointment of two new Senior System Engineers. Richard Robb and Adrian Enache will be well known to Vadim system owners and visitors to the Vadim Forum. Their previous work can be seen in award winning PCs and projects such as Nightshade and Ragnarok - due for entry into Custom PC‘s 2008 Dream PC competition. Neil Richards, Kobalt’s Technical Director said “Richard and Adrian bring with them years of experience in custom PC building and will be heavily involved in finalising the development of new liquid cooled systems as well as several unique projects. Mojave XI Review - Total PC Gaming Issue 8Total PC Gaming Issue 8 - Gaming laptops group test Page 91-96 "Overall the balance of components in this notebook is excellent, and where it not for the Dell's ludicrously low price, Kobalt would have had an easy victory in the 'bang for buck' stakes. As it stands, though, the Mojave XI is a superb option for those that want desktop performance in a relatively portable form factor and is well worth your consideration" For more details visit: http://www.kobaltcomputers.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=182 |

Mojave XI Review - PC FormatTech Radar - April 1st "The bold and the beautiful laptop" "This beauty is in no small part because of the great-looking custom paint job provided by Kobalt Computers out-sourced arty types. The specification is also rather easy on the eye, with the latest 8800-based mobile GPU from NVIDIA, 4GB DDR2 memory and one of the fastest mobile Penryn CPUs currently out there. All this adds up to some excellent benchmarks. A laptop clocking in at over 9,000 points in 3DMark06 is not necessarily a new phenomenon, but one that maintains playable speeds in the DX10 version of Crysis is something we haven't seen. Offering some cheap prices and decent quality components, the UK -based supplier may well find itself among the big buys before long.
