Mojave X

Is there any chance of getting a little more advance info on this model please?
I noticed the other day that some extra info appeared in one of the homepage drop-downs which said the weight was 3.2Kg. I want a notebook for commuting so the weight is quite important - losing an extra pound compared to the XI would be most welcome.

I have just checked and apparently none of the Mojave systems have been changed spec or info wise in the last week if not more, also the Mojave X is not actually online yet - could you confirm you mean the X and not the IX and I will have another look. I believe both the IX and XI are 3.95kgs. The IX and XI are both the same chassis and the only real difference is the GPUs so they will weigh the same as each other.

I took a Mojave XI up to London on the train and back a few days ago and in a shouder bag they are not really that heavy at all.

I meant the Mojave 'X' - the one you have listed as coming soon (hence the request for advance info). Monday or Tuesday this week someone maintaining the website made a mistake and the X started appearing in the Notebooks->Gaming drop down menu for a few hours. Hovering over the Mojave X link showed some information (as it does with the IX and XI), one part of which was the weight - 3.2Kg.

Having lugged a 3.98Kg Dell XPS around for a long while, together with the 1.5Kg bag for it, a manual or two, my mobe, the PDA, the mouse etc etc - I can honestly say that shaving the weight wherever possible looks decidely attractive :)

Ah I see, I'll have words with the website man!!! I believe the Mojave X has been updated to the Mojave WS (workstation with Quadro card) and AWS (audio workstation) however they are not yet available - I will get them to sort the menu drop downs out at the same time!
