Hi guys,

I was about to place an order this morning for an SLI Comanche when I noticed a not-insignificant price discrepancy.

Speccing the same laptop:

Q9650, 2x9800m GT, 4Gb, 1x250Gb/7800, 1x320Gb/5400 (no RAID), Xi-Fi notebook sound, everything else standard.

The standard Comanche came in at 2469, the SLI version at 2564 - just about 100 pounds difference in price for the same laptop. Can I assume that I'm best calling you personally for the best price on this build rather than using the web-site ?

Hi there,

There are some differences price wise between the two due to the differences in the base specifications. To be honest I would purchase which ever system gives you the better price for your specification.

Is it because when you select a Comanche SLI it comes with a second hard drive whereas you have opted for one hard drive with the Comanche? I only wanted one drive with mine so I specced a Comanche into a Comanche SLI and the difference in price was explained by the absence of the second hard drive.
