TV tuners

Has anybody opted for having a tv tuner in their laptops and if so how have they found it?

Humm.. bit of a tricky one. I'm not going to say they're great go for it....for some people they work well.. for others it's not worth it. This is based on the fact that you need to be in an area with very good reception to get a decent picture with the aerial that comes with it.. especially for digital. Some people have used external aerials in their homes and have got some good pictures, others get nothing. When they work they are very good, and it saves having a USB tuner or the like.. but tbh I'm not 100% convinced.

Can some of the guys who have got one let us know what you think of it it? :confused:

i had one on my previous computer before my m15x and imo if you want to watch tv buy a tv,nuff said.

I know some of the guys in the States sell USB TV Tuners and we've just had an enquiry about them.... tbh it's not necessarily something we will sell as supporting external TV Tuners is more work that it sounds but it might be a better solution for people who need to use a larger aerial.
