After my graphics card blew up after 14 months of solid performance I was sad but not as sad as my wallet was.

I rang Kobalt on the off chance that their might be some sort of manufacturers warranty on it but was pleasantly suprised to find that Kobalt offered to pick up my existing card test it and replace it with what is almost certainly a superior card.

I deal with Microsoft tech support all day and the difference really was incredible.

I wasnt asked to reformat my hard drive, i wasnt told to remove every application that hadnt been preinstalled I didnt get asked every 5 minutes 'are you having a good day sir , that actually annoys me more than reinstall the OS. Or the worst getting Microsoft support to quote something they had googled as a fix when in fact the person who posted the article in the first place was me!

I think I had the graphics card collected, tested and replaced in 3 working days.

Anyway well done
