FAQS



- Which countries do you deliver to?

We ship to all countries in the EU and any other country in the world listed in the checkout phase (when a product has been added to the basket and the option to choose the delivery country is shown). The following countries are excluded due to export / import limitations:

Russia
Cuba
Iran
Iraq
Afghanistan
Zimbabwe
China
North Korea


For any other country please contact a member of our sales team for information.



- What delivery options do you offer?

We use TNT for UK, EU and Fedex for Worldwide deliveries.

UK - Standard next day delivery from £20.00, optional Saturday Pre-12 delivery from £26.00
Europe - Standard 1-2 day delivery from £60.00
Rest Of The World - 2-5 days.

- What payment methods to you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (except American Express), debit cards and bank transfers. Please note that if you opt to pay by bank transfer you will be e-mailed our bank details upon receipt of your order but you will not receieve an order confirmation until we have confirmed receipt of payment.



- How long does it take to receive an order confirmation?

When you place an order you will automatically be sent a confirmation of your order. This is your proof of purchase.

As a secondary confirmation we create a manual confirmation which contains log in details for our website so you can track your order and post messages directly our engineers and sales staff.

Currently all order confirmations are created manually by our staff to ensure chosen components are compatible and to ensure payment has sucessfully been recieved. This process takes upto 3 working days but may take longer during busy periods. Please note that we will have a new system in place in the next month that will produce immediate order confirmations.




- I placed my order but cannot log in to track my order, why?

To log in to the customer area of the website you need a unique customer number. This number is provided in an e-mail the same time as your order confirmation is sent.




Technical Information


- I would like Windows installed on its own partition, can I specify how many partitions I want?

Yes you can. Once you have placed your order please e-mail sales@kobaltcomputers.co.uk with your Name and Order Number along with the amount of partitions you want, what you want them labeled as and what size they should be.




- Other companies only send a restoration copy of Windows on CD, do you?

No we do not supply a restoration image of Windows, instead we supply the full OEM (cannot be installed on another system) copy of Windows.

1/ This forum is provided for current and potential Kobalt customers and as such is owned by Kobalt Computers Ltd.

2/ We do not censor threads or delete posts unless they either contain factually incorrect information regarding Kobalt products or services or feature personal attacks or bad language.

3/ Use of foul or abusive langauge will not be tolerated. We have users of all ages and as such we expect you to act in a fair and respectful manor. Any abusive/ foul language will be deleted without warning, and further breaches will result in suspension.

4/ There are three members of Kobalt staff represented on the forums:

Posts made about individual orders may not be replied to and may be deleted.
