Hi,

After thorough browsing of high-end, custom builders and after careful consideration, I have decided to go with Kobalt and an Apache ICE. But since I live in Sweden I'm a bit conserned about the shipping part. From my personal experience, most freight forwarders are not that careful with the goods. So I'm a bit curious about how a water cooled system is wrapped up to protect it during transport? And what is your experience from international shipping so far?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Ekscha and welcome to the kobalt forum.
to be honnest there has been a couple of mishaps before caused by the courier but 2 out of the hundreds sold is a very very small percentage and this can happen to litteraly anything that is sent by courier.
kobalt rap all their computers up very well and not just on the outside but the inside as well.
as far as i can remember i think it takes a day or 2 longer to arrive as its got further to go.

for more info you could always email the team at sales@kobolt in sig below.

Hi Ekscha

We ship all systems with anti-static bubble wrap inside the chassis. Quite a lot of the higher end water cooled systems are hand delivered in the UK but any desktops that go to Europe are boxed up as above and then double boxed with special expandable foam inserts.

We can send it via TNT or FedEx, TNT are usually better in Europe as they cover a greater area but if you have a preference for FedEx it's just as easy to book on account.

Thanks for the answers! I'll just wait and see how expensive this Christmas will get before putting in my order:)
