Computer systems by their nature are complex and relatively
fragile. Because of this any problems that arise can often be expensive
and time consuming to correct. At Kobalt Computers we do not believe
that you should face these problems alone. If you computer is out
of warranty repairs for single components can range to upto £600!
and you would be liable to pay for those costs. That's why we have
devised a range of warranties to cover these unexpected problems.
Website support
Website support should be your first port of call when dealing
with problems with your Kobalt system. The majority of issues can
be resolved easily through the forum section of our website. It features
the most common queries related to new systems that often turn out
to be easily resolved, often due to a new customers non-familiarisation
with a new system.
E-mail and Telephone Support
Free e-mail support is provided for the duration of the warranty
and is available Monday to Friday 10:30am to 6pm. We endeavour to solve
the majority of problems not resolved by website support through
e-mail. You can e-mail Kobalt's support personnel directly but the
best way is to fill out the support form on Kobalt's website. Should
you prefer to talk through your problem our technical support department
is available via the main Kobalt number (calls are charged at local
rate) and are also available Monday to Friday 10:30am to 6pm.
Collect and Return
It is possible that you may encounter a problem with your Kobalt
system which cannot be resolved through our e-mail, telephone or website
support. The vast majority of these cases are related to hardware
failures. Your warranty covers both parts and labour. For the duration
of your warranty we wil replace faulty hardware free of charge. Kobalt
will cover costs of the shipping of the system to our factory and
shipping back to you.
If you can satisfy us that you are experienced in hardware installation we can arrange for
replacement parts to be sent to you and you can install these parts
yourself if you so wish.
Upgrades
If at any time you wish to upgrade a component in your system we are
able to offer upgrades at specially reduced prices. Feel free to contact
our technical support department or your account manager for a customised
quote on any component upgrade. |
