Why Is This Necessary?

Although Kobalt uses de-ionised water and Zerex additive to combat corrosion, over time water cooled PCs can become susceptible to discolouration in the pipes and water blocks. As it will seem a daunting task for the average owner to drain, clean and re fill a system we offer the first service free of charge, with the option of adding a second and third year on top for future peace of mind.

The free first year service includes all shipping costs from the customer to Kobalt and back as well as the labour and materials involved in the service.


All services include the following:

- Shipping to and from Kobalt premises
- Draining the system
- Cleaning the system thoroughly including the removal of tubing, water blocks, radiators, reservoirs and pumps if necessary to achieve this
- Re filling the system with de-ionised water, Zerex and choice of Dye colour (other additives and liquids may be used at customers request) including and reseating of blocks
- Thorough internal and external cleaning of the system and case including fans, heat sinks and other “hard to reach places”!         
- System test over 24 hours to confirm the absence of leaks and temperatures are with in expected levels 
- This service also provides the perfect opportunity to upgrade your PC components such as graphics cards, RAM or Processor.


Shipping

Shipping will be arranged by Kobalt (after agreeing dates with the customer) and carried out by an insured courier. Including the pick up and delivery dates, the service will take between 4 and 5 business days (inc Saturday).
