Because we over clock all water cooled systems as standard unless asked not to the stock CPU speeds are a little irrelevant. At the same time the “Water Cooling” option has a bearing on how much we can safely over clock a CPU. It is easier to discuss each systems potential individually however a 965 won’t necessarily obtain a higher over clock than a 920 as other factors have to be taken into account.

For example in a Lian Li case with full chipset/mosfet cooling a 920 CPU will happily run at 4.2GHz, however an identical system but with just CPU/GPU cooling 3.7GHz is a more realistic speed as the chipset cooling is limited on air.
